PROBING D.C.'S ELECTION PROBLEMS : A primary election in the District last month was anything but routine. The contest was plagued by thousands of so-called "phantom" votes, and questions remain about how the problems could impact the November election. We'll talk about the discrepancies and hear about a newly-released Board of Elections report investigating the problems. (24 min.) BRINGING OPERA TO A NEW GENERATION : The Washington National Opera kicked off its season this fall with a live simulcast at Washington National Stadium. Who Is Public Radio Redux?

Public Radio Redux was started by two friends who bonded over the joys and pain of making radio. Jen Nathan and Erin Mishkin met at the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies and quickly bonded over a shared love of podcasts and bloody marys. Rather than boring their friends with another unrehearsed live re-enactment of their favorite radio shows, they started this blog.
