With their outstanding debut record, 3 Rounds and a Sound out this summer, opening for Aimee Mann last week, and playing at PDX Pop Now! Saturday, it's all clear skies for Blind Pilot. Israel Nebeker and Ryan Dobrowski started the group as a duo, but have added Katie Claborn on banjo and dulcimer, and bassist Luke Ydstie for their upcoming tour (yes, touring the West Coast on bikes!), and the group expands to 9 for some shows, like Saturday night's performance at PDX Pop Now!. Their in-studio set features 4 songs from the new record, characteristically understated writing and blending of voices.

Who Is Public Radio Redux?

Public Radio Redux was started by two friends who bonded over the joys and pain of making radio. Jen Nathan and Erin Mishkin met at the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies and quickly bonded over a shared love of podcasts and bloody marys. Rather than boring their friends with another unrehearsed live re-enactment of their favorite radio shows, they started this blog.
