Kim Deal spent the 1980's and 1990's at the top of alternative music in bands like The Pixies and The Breeders. Now, Deal and The Breeders (including her twin sister Kelley) have returned from a six-year hiatus with the album "Mountain Battles." Public Radio Redux was started by two friends who bonded over the joys and pain of making radio. Jen Nathan and Erin Mishkin met at the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies and quickly bonded over a shared love of podcasts and bloody marys. Rather than boring their friends with another unrehearsed live re-enactment of their favorite radio shows, they started this blog.
