Four out of five adults in the
U.S., in any given week, take some type of prescription drug
or dietary supplement. And they rarely consult their
pharmacist about matters like drug interactions. Our guest is
Tod Marks, senior editor of Consumer Reports. The
magazine surveyed readers about how they get their
prescriptions filled; they surveyed stores and online
businesses about drug prices; and more.

We'll get a report from hearings on drug
safety and liability laws, with testimony from actor Dennis
Quaid, and on challenges in caring for and treating people
