It would be too easy to label the music of Colin Gilmore as West Texas rock. Gilmore himself has said there's also the strong influence of all the punk, psychedelic, country and pop music he listened to throughout the years. He's learned from the best, and it shows. Public Radio Redux was started by two friends who bonded over the joys and pain of making radio. Jen Nathan and Erin Mishkin met at the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies and quickly bonded over a shared love of podcasts and bloody marys. Rather than boring their friends with another unrehearsed live re-enactment of their favorite radio shows, they started this blog.
